The short version

The Final Frame Extractor is free and requires no account. Your video is uploaded to our server to be processed, and both the video and the frames it produces are automatically deleted within 60 minutes. We do not view them, sell them, or use them to train anything.

What happens to a video you upload

• The file is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our server in New York, USA.
• It is checked to confirm it really is a video, then four frames are extracted from the end of it.
• The video and the extracted frames are written to a private directory that is not reachable from the web. Files are given random names; your original filename is discarded and never stored.
• An automated job runs every hour and deletes anything older than 60 minutes. Nothing is archived, and there is no backup of uploaded videos.
• Frames are only retrievable by a random 32-character identifier that is returned to your browser and never published.

We are being precise about this because some similar tools advertise "100% local" processing. Ours is not local — the work is done on our server, which is why we tell you exactly how briefly the file lives there.

What we keep

• Server logs. Standard web-server records — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user-agent. Used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults. Rotated and discarded on a rolling basis.
• Analytics. Google Analytics 4 (property G-P11J85X5FG) records aggregate page views. See Google's privacy policy.
• Nothing else. The extractor has no login, no cookies of our own, no account, and no database entry tied to you.

The retired FinalFrame application

The paid FinalFrame video application is offline. Account records from it — email addresses and credit balances — are retained so we can answer people who ask about them. If you want your record from that application exported or deleted, email support@finalframe.ai and we will do it.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be deleted, or ask us to stop processing it, by emailing support@finalframe.ai. Because the extractor stores nothing tied to your identity, in most cases the honest answer will be that there is nothing to return.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
